Hundreds of miles separate them, but the connection that draws them together is too much to be denied. As the layers of their lives peel back, Kayden keeps the dangerous parts of his past hidden to protect the woman who is becoming more important to him than he should allow. What starts as a pursuit of carnal pleasure turns into a complicated love story. His past is a tangled web filled with addiction, an obsessed ex-girlfriend, and problems with the law.

Deleted Excerpt from Sophia about her past:

The marriage wasn’t consummated on the night of our nuptials, he didn’t have the energy. He always had an excuse and was disinterested in sex. I had been blind to all the clues and waited for things to change. He expected me to assume the role of his mother and housekeeper, and I tried to submerge myself in my work and keeping him happy.

The years ticked by and nothing changed. The passion never blossomed, stagnation became the norm. It would be damn miracle to have a baby with the amount of sex that occurred. My mind became obsessed with the thought of a child. My twenties were coming to an end and the dream grew farther out of reach.

My world turned gray and became devoid of sunshine. I couldn’t walk past a family without tears forming in my eyes. My job no longer brought me satisfaction because I was surrounded by children, a constant reminder of what I would never have. I wanted children with such fervor that I gave him an ultimatum.

  20. I'm already married, so it wouldn't be a good idea to try it. I do know some relatives that have tried certain sites and have been very successful and got married. So I believe that if I were single I might give it a go.
