The marriage wasn’t consummated on the night of our nuptials, he didn’t have the energy. He always had an excuse and was disinterested in sex. I had been blind to all the clues and waited for things to change. He expected me to assume the role of his mother and housekeeper, and I tried to submerge myself in my work and keeping him happy.

The years ticked by and nothing changed. The passion never blossomed, stagnation became the norm. It would be damn miracle to have a baby with the amount of sex that occurred.
