Don't miss a beat with the fourth and final novel in the USA Today bestselling Stage Dive series from Kylie Scott.
Positive. With two little lines on a pregnancy test, everything in Lizzy Rollins' ordinary life is about to change forever. And all because of one big mistake in Vegas with Ben Nicholson, the irresistibly sexy bass player for Stage Dive. So what if Ben's the only man she's ever met who can make her feel completely safe, cherished, and out of control with desire at the same time? Lizzy knows the gorgeous rock star isn't looking for anything more permanent than a good time, no matter how much she wishes differently.
Ben knows Lizzy is off limits. Completely and utterly. She's his best friend's little sister now, and no matter how hot the chemistry is between them, no matter how sweet and sexy she is, he's not going to go there. But when Ben is forced to keep the one girl he's always had a weakness for out of trouble in Sin City, he quickly learns that what happens in Vegas, doesn't always stay there. Now he and Lizzie are connected in the deepest way possible...but will it lead to a connection of the heart?

Review by Yvette:
It's a bittersweet feeling, coming to the end of a favorite series, not wanting to say goodbye to favorite characters for the final time, especially when said characters are as memorable and eclectic as Kylie Scott’s Stage Dive crew. Deep is a perfect example of how far these characters have come from the start of the series, as protagonists Ben and Lizzy are faced with the heretofore unexplored topic of an unplanned pregnancy. The result is an unexpectedly emotional, undeniably complicated and unfailingly entertaining narrative. The fourth and final book in the series may be Lizzy and Ben’s story, but the narrative is an ode to the entire cast of characters we have gotten to know and love.
Although the Stage Dive series are rock star romances, I love that the heroines are the stars of the show, so to speak. The books aren’t all sunshine, rainbows, and glamorous lifestyles, but are instead about how ordinary, down-to-earth girls fit into the crazy, chaotic lives of these rock stars. Deep follows suit, chronicling Lizzy's journey, from meeting and falling for Ben, to the moment she discovers she's pregnant, then dealing with the outcome of her and Ben’s actions. From page one I was drawn to Lizzy’s effervescent personality and her easy confidence when it came to pursing what she wanted. She had this naïve quality that made me feel protective over her, as if she were my younger sister, which was perhaps why I had the recurring urge to kick Ben in his (fictional) balls.
Kylie Scott has a gift for creating heroes that are incredibly frustrating one moment then irresistibly charming the next. Ben’s tendency towards monosyllabic communication certainly didn’t help matters, although it did contribute to his effortlessly cool, slightly mysterious persona. You would think that a brooding but sexy bass player plus an adorably quirky twenty-something woman plus a heaping dose of sexual chemistry would equal a smooth road to Happily Ever After. Of course, that would be too easy… Their story is instead messy and challenging and complete with a number of obstacles that kept me in a constant state of nervousness and uncertainty. From start to finish, Deep kept me on edge, wondering if Ben and Lizzy could make things work between them. I flew through the pages at what seemed to be warp speed, eager to learn the ending, yet when the time came, I was reluctant to leave the world of Stage Dive, and wished for another hundred or so pages to extend my stay.
There was a quote I thought summed up the series particularly well about how every relationship was different and no one on the outside could quite understand how any one couple worked. Reading Deep, I thought this was fitting because it was the private moments between Ben and Lizzy that only they (and we, as readers) were privy to that held the most meaning. Looking back on the story, it's those moments that will stand out among everything else. The Stage Dive series is one that I kept returning to because of the familial aspect of each book, which grew in strength and number with each new heroine inducted into the tight-knit group. As a reader, I enjoyed getting this all-access-pass into the lives of each member of Stage Dive and their significant others. Deep was an immensely enjoyable conclusion to an incredibly series by Kylie Scott and I look forward to seeing what the author comes out with next.
